The morning began as Pastor Peter lined up all the people in the long lines with the Pastors in front . We slowly walked the two acre foundation and the people sang and prayed and then stopped at the spot where the cornerstone was to be laid. Our Pastor and Walt Haskins were privileged to lay the stones and we could feel the emotions that Pastor Peter was experiencing.
The childrens teaching team , Ashley and Taylor Hemphill and Andrea Horne taught SundaySchool to about 50 children. They learned about Daniel and the Lion and Noah. The entire missions team helped the kids make lion puppets out of paper bags. This was the first time the children had used markers and they were so cute to watch.

The team enjoyed the entire day as we sang and worshiped. The highlight for the women's team was getting to dance Masaii style with the Masaii women. We presented the church with cases of new Masaii Bibles.
As soon as we got back to the camp, we were thrilled to Skype a report to Bay Leaf for the 11:00
service and Pastor Peter was able to speak to the congregation and thank them for allowing us to come and serve his people. That was the first time we were able to send a hightech report.

What a day of celebration that must have been! Oh to know that Jesus reigns in Liberty Baptist Church and that you were able to be a part of the cornerstone being laid. PTL! Would love to see a video clip of the women dancing:)
